What we collect

When you send an enquiry. Your name, email address and phone number, the office nearest to the asset, the practice you are interested in, and whatever you choose to write about the engagement.

When you write to us or send documents. The contents of your email or WhatsApp message and any documents you attach, such as title deeds, approved plans, tax bills or revenue records.

When an engagement goes ahead. The particulars of the asset and the parties that a report must record, the inspection notes and photographs, and correspondence with the party the report is addressed to.

When you visit the site. Our host records technical information needed to serve and protect the site, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not build profiles of visitors.

Why we use it

To answer your enquiry, which you consent to by sending it; to carry out an engagement you instruct us on; and to meet our legal and professional obligations, including record keeping as registered valuers and under tax law. We do not use your data for any purpose unrelated to these, we do not sell it, and we do not share it for marketing.

Who we share it with

Only with those who need it to do the work: the lender, court, authority or other party a report is addressed to, where you have instructed us to report to them; regulators and authorities where the law requires it; and the service providers who run this website and deliver its email on our behalf. Those providers may process data outside India. They act on our instructions and are bound to protect it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become engagements are deleted within twelve months. Engagement records, including reports and the evidence behind them, are kept for as long as our professional and statutory obligations require, which for a valuation report can be several years after it is issued.

How we protect it

Access to personal data is limited to the people working on your matter. The site is served over an encrypted connection, and documents are kept in access-controlled systems. If a breach affecting your data occurs, we will inform you and the Data Protection Board as the law requires.

Your rights

You may ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it has been used; ask us to correct, complete or update it; ask us to erase it where we are not required to keep it; withdraw your consent for any processing that relies on it; and nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf.
